Meet our founders
Hi y’all! We are Meredith and Charlotte, the owners of Saltwater Swaddles! We first met in college at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and bonded over both being artists. We’re now both moms to a boy and a girl and love creating beautiful children’s items that are grounded in our South Carolina roots. Charlotte is our artist, who hand-paints each watercolor design in Charleston, SC, and Meredith is our graphic designer who uses the artwork to design our beautiful patterns.

Our Process
1. Hand-painted in Charleston
Every Saltwater Swaddles pattern begins as a painting by our co-founder, fine artist Charlotte Fraser.
2. Thoughtfully patterned
Each piece of artwork is transformed to a pattern that will show the details and vivid colors of the painting.
3. Printed on the softest products we could find.
The completed patterns are printed using a process that helps the colors stay bright, wash after wash. We use the softest fabrics to ensure your products can be passed down from baby to baby.
