Price Adjustments, Returns + Exchanges

RETURNS + EXCHANGES: Prepaid return labels are available.

-- Products that are unwashed/unworn, tags attached and in their original packaging are eligible for a full refund or exchange within 15 days of delivery (this includes swaddles + newborn gowns). After 15 days, items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

-- Returns + exchanges are not available for opened swaddles + newborn gowns (this is done to ensure the integrity of our products and keep the babies that use them safe).

-- For item(s) to be eligible for a return/exchange, they must have been purchased directly from and have an order number. Item(s) purchased from a retail partner or wholesaler must be returned to the same location where the original transaction took place.

--All Items purchased with a discount code of 20% or higher is FINAL SALE (no returns, no exchanges).

-- All items bought on sale are FINAL SALE (no returns, no exchanges).

-- Snagged Swaddles: we understand that we aren’t perfect! Snags happen. If the snag is a product defect, we will absolutely get you a new one! However, our products are heavily inspected and will never come with massive strips of snags. Oftentimes, those are a result of washing our fragile swaddles with Velcro closure swaddles. Please be aware when washing your new swaddles!

For returns, an $8 handling/shipping fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. This $8 charge covers shipping labels and additional shipping charges. Exchanges will not be assessed a fee. We will send you a prepaid return label via email.

For exchanges, there is no fee + a return label will be provided to you. We offer 1 free exchange per order, after that we will have to charge our $8 handling/shipping fee.

  • Please note, the new item(s) will not ship until the original item has been received back. Please note, it can take 5-10 business days for the new item(s) to ship.
  • When doing an exchange, we are unable to guarantee that the requested item will be fulfilled when the return item(s) has been received + processed. If the item is unavailable, you will receive a refund notification via email.

Gift exchanges: Gifts can only be exchanged for other items and cannot be refunded. Gift exchanges will be charged a $6 handling fee to cover re-packing/re-shipping your new item. Please provide the order number from your gift, as we will allow an extended exchange period for these items after verifying purchase price.

NOTE: Saltwater Swaddles reserves the right to refuse worn, washed, or damaged merchandise once received. 



We occasionally offer flash sales, product discounts and other sales! We love offering these to our customers and think it's a great way to get our products at an discounted price. That said, we will honor a price adjustment for items purchased 48 hours before any sales!
